The purpose of this site (we named it Stop Underage Smut for a reason) is to warn online writers of the dangers of posting adult content where the underage can access it, and provide these writers with alternatives and resources.
We the administration don't care what you write, what you read, who you fantasize about, who you're shagging, et cetera. But keep it away from the underaged. There are ways to prevent them from reading your writing, so you may as well utilize them. There'll be fewer lawsuits (yes, lawsuits) that way.

This site is not intended to piss anyone off, start a flame war (if that's what they still call it these days), censure anything, promote some kind of convoluted sexual morality *cough*, or oppress/repress/depress anyone. Keep the grown up stuff where just the grown-ups can find it, and we can all continue on with our lives. Here's various places you can post your work without having the crazy censures beating down your door. The first two have "adult group" options, where the underage would have to lie and click the "yes I'm a grown-up" button. The third requires you to send in a copy of your ID to be able to be a member. Tough, yeah, but makes the kids have to be slightly more creative.
And then there's SurfControl.com, which we all know and love. Go check it out.
